A Small Fireplace
We think this really speaks for itself. A old, unsightly gas fire was removed, the original Victorian fireplace opened up and a new cast iron fireplace and surround installed. The outdated louvre door, cupboard and varnished pine shelves were removed and replaced. Reclaimed limestone flagstones were used for the hearth and natural flooring laid around. A large, overmantle mirror was used to reflect light from the north facing windows, cast iron wall sconces held candles in the alcoves whilst Indian candle sticks finished in gold leaf and a ceramic clock completed the scheme.
